This week we will interview Bill Daniels owner of outlaw motorsports
Q: How did you decide to own a team that consist of two street stocks and two hornets?
Bill: I never really set out to own a four car team everything just kind of fell in place. Keith's dad Kenny, and I were best friends when Kenny passed away I knew then I was going to get a car for Keith it took me longer then what I expected but I came across the right car at the right time. My grandson (Dylan) wanted to race so last year I got him a hornet, well one weekend Dylan could not run so I put a long time family friend (Jim Alcock) son (Jake) in the car, I liked what I saw in Jake's driving so I decided to put him in a car in 2009. I have a plan to move Dylan up the racing ranks I came across a street stock that I liked so I picked it up. I still want Dylan to run one more year in hornets so I decided to put Billy (my son) in the car. Billy has alot of knowledge in racing so we will use his experience to get some setups that way Dylan can adjust his driving style to the car and not worry about the setup as much.
Q: In racing there seems to be alot of teams calling it quits, How do you finance four top notch teams?
Bill: It's very difficult!! (laughing) The street stocks once they get on the track the cars will need to fund themselfs. The hornets do not require as much so that will not be to hard to get them to the track.
Q: What is your favorite color?
Bill: Purple (of coarse)
Q: Favorite food?
Bill: Fried chicken (I am a hillbilly)
Q: Favorite movie?
Bill: Good morning Vietnam
Q: Favorite race track?
Bill: Eldora
Q: Most memorable race?
Bill: My first figure 8 win
Q: What happened?
Bill: I started fifth made a pass going through the intersection on the last lap for the win.
Q: What are you most looking forward to in 2009?
Bill: All four cars getting wins
Q: What are your goals for 2009?
Bill: I want points champion and rookie of the year in both classes.
Thank you Bill for a great interview and good luck in 2009!
Our first interview will be with Keith Rapp driver of the 14R street stock.
Q: What is your favorite color?

Q: Favorite food?
Keith: Pizza
Q: Favorite movie?
Keith: Rocky
Q: Favorite race track
Keith: Gas City Ind
Q: Most memorable race?
Keith: Figure 8 invitational at Toledo Speedway
Q: What happened?
Keith: My dad and Dennis Whisman both started at the rear of the field. They both came flying up though the field when they got in the lead they swapped the lead back and forth for atleast ten laps. They crossed the finsh line at the same time. The officals let the spectators decide the winner. They gave the win to Dennis. He was driving a full blown Chuck Romell Late model and we were just running our regular Figure 8 car.
Q: What are you most looking forward to in 2009?
